DEFENSIVE HANDGUN– April 6th, 2024 from 12-4 PM at the Mount Joy Sportsmen’s Association.
This course is specifically designed to introduce new or intermediate shooters to the fundamentals and mindset required for those who choose to utilize their handgun for defensive purposes. Training is provided by highly skilled and certified firearms instructors, who will cover a variety of objectives to include multiple target engagement, clearing jams/malfunctions, reloading while shooting, and defensive mental exercises to help build confidence and a solid foundation for accurate shot placement. Class size is limited to ensure that each student receives personalized instruction in a controlled and safe environment.
($120 per person/$200 per pair)
TACTICAL HANDGUN – May 11, 2024 from 12-4 at the Mt. Joy Sportsmen’s Association.
This course is specifically designed for individuals who have some experience with shooting and reloading and are looking to develop their firearm shooting skills. Training will cover a variety of tactical objectives such as shooting from behind cover, engaging multiple targets, as well as courses of fire involving movement in a controlled and individualized setting. Class size is limited to ensure that each student receives personalized instruction in a controlled and safe environment.
Brief safety instruction followed by range practical application.
