COMBAT PISTOL – July 18th, 2026 from 10-4:30 PM at the Lebanon County Police Combat Pistol Club (LCPCPC)

This course is specifically designed for individuals who are experienced handgun shooters and have previously attended a Level 3 or equivalent certified training course involving reloading and engaging targets while moving.  This training includes tactical trauma care (tourniquet application, wound packing, E.T.D. application), accuracy and speed drills, combat target engagement objectives, and scenario-based shooting and trauma application drills. Class size is limited to ensure that each student receives personalized instruction in a controlled and safe environment.

275 rounds of ammunition required.

BASIC HANDGUN SAFETY AND SHOOTING – July 25th, 2026 from 10-2 PM at the Mt. Joy Sportsmen’s Association.

This course is specifically designed for new handgun owners or beginners, looking to develop their firearm safety and shooting skills. Training is provided by highly skilled and certified firearms instructors, who will cover a variety of objectives in a controlled classroom setting. Once comfortable with the safety and operation of their firearm, students will then transition into a practical application on the range where shooting lessons will be applied in a safe and controlled environment.

50 rounds of ammunition required. ($100 per person-18 years and older)

DEFENSIVE HANDGUN– August 29th, 2026, from 12-4 PM at the Mount Joy Sportsmen’s Association.

This course is specifically designed to introduce new or intermediate shooters to the fundamentals and mindset required for those who choose to utilize their handgun for defensive purposes. Not recommended for those who have no experience with shooting a handgun. Training is provided by highly skilled and certified firearms instructors, who will cover a variety of objectives to include multiple target engagement, clearing jams/malfunctions, reloading while shooting, and defensive mental exercises to help build confidence and a solid foundation for accurate shot placement. Class size is limited to ensure that each student receives personalized instruction in a controlled and safe environment.

100 rounds of ammunition required.
